As a follow-up to last week's newsletter, I would like to invite you again to our parent session on improving school feedback. This will be the focus for our Coffee Morning with the Leadership Team on Friday 9 October at 9.00. The meeting will now take place in the Big Room.
On any given school day, a teacher can do something, write something, or say something to a student that may change them forever. This might seem like hyperbole but it is not. If you ask most adults this question and give them time to think, they will inevitably remember something profound a teacher said or did. Actually, it will often be a negative school memory: 'Mr. Smith the Physics Teacher always made me feel stupid. Now, as an astronaut, I look down from my spaceship at planet earth I think look at me now, Mr. Smith!'
