This is a time of year when you can find yourself asking the same person about their summer holiday plans for the third time. This is the only small talk that both of you can manage without thinking too hard. Everyone is tired. In our Lower School, the teachers are keeping the lid on cans of jumping beans, students who are ready for holiday freedom. Our Upper School students are finishing exams and final assessments at the end of a busy, busy year. Some of our ISH families are in transition, juggling all sorts of logistical challenges and carrying the emotional weight of moving on. We look forward to celebrating a great year next week and wishing everyone well for what will happen next. Our end of year assembly and graduation ceremony are moving occasions when our community says goodbye to many friends. They are moments in time when we are all keenly aware of life moving on and our children growing up. All our parents are warmly invited to both these events.
