International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD)

Those students who qualify for the IBD programme complete a two-year course of study, which is externally examined.

Students will select one subject from each of six categories offered by the school; three of these subjects will be at the Higher level (demanding), and three will be at the Standard level (less demanding). The courses of study from which to choose are reviewed on a yearly basis: As well as these subjects an IB student must also complete 250 hours of community service (CAS), write an Extended Essay, and complete a Theory of Knowledge course (TOK).

Detailed information regarding the ISH-Diploma and the IB-Diploma can be found in the Program Handbook for Grades 11 and 12. This handbook is available from the IB co-ordinator's and guidance offices.Or click to the IB World School link on the left side of this text.
