To be considered for teaching positions at the International School of Helsinki all applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Master's Degree preferred)
  2. Teacher Certification/Licensure
  3. Minimally two full years of teaching experience post degree and certification (PYP, MYP and DP experience preferred)

Current Open Positions:

Full time High and Middle School English as an Additional Language teacher
The school is seeking to employ an educator who is experienced teaching high and middle school English as an Additional Language starting from 1 August 2015.
The ideal applicants must have at least a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with Teaching Qualifications and be able to demonstrate proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in English. Experience of the IB programme is an advantage as well as experience with Middle and High school students. More details of the job description will be given at the interview.
